The role of the Fenstanton Village Hall Trust is to provide for the building and development of a Fenstanton Community Hall in order to ensure that it initially and continues to meet the evolving needs of the community. In particular the objective is to maintain and develop a sustainable, compliant, adaptable and valued community asset to last throughout the century which will contribute towards:Â Â Â
- Benefiting the inhabitants of Fenstanton
- Provide facilities for recreation or other leisure time activities
- Address issues for those impacted by factors including: youth; age; infirmity or disability; financial hardship; social and economic circumstances: giving people better chances in life
- A healthier and more active community
The hall will provide a venue for a wide variety of users. These are likely to include:
- Local clubs, groups and societies on both a regular, periodic and ad-hoc basis
- Local organisations, including Parish and local Councils
- Local businesses
- Local residents, for example social gatherings, village meetings. IT resources, community hub
- The FVHT for meetings, fundraisers
